At KC Resources & Services, selected water tanks supplied and installed by us are backed by the relevant manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. For natural water storage tanks, the manufacturer provides a 20-year pro-rata warranty for residential/domestic applications and a 10-year pro-rata warranty for commercial/industrial applications, calculated from the date of installation. Under this warranty, the manufacturer agrees to meet a proportion of the cost of repairing or replacing a leaking tank caused by defects in materials or workmanship, with the customer responsible for the remaining balance on a pro-rata basis. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.
For residential/domestic applications, manufacturer covers 100% of warranty costs in the first year, 95% in the second year, with its contribution reducing by 5% each year until the 20th year, when manufacturer covers 5% and the customer covers 95%. For commercial/industrial applications, manufacturer covers 100% of warranty costs in the first year, 90% in the second year, with its contribution reducing by 10% each year until the 10th year, when manufacturer covers 10% and the customer covers 90%.
